*Spoiler*Cortana picks Noble 6 and the Master Chief?
I've been playing halo reach for a 2nd time on legendary by myself this time and actually started watching the cut scenes and... Dr.Halsey was saying Cortana chose noble 6 but in Halo 3 she picks the Master Chief. Is it just because Noble 6 died and she has no one else to chose from so she "re-picks" or was noble 6 just a carrier? Also in Halo 3 when she choses master chief who else was there to chose from (lol) isn't he the last one? (I might of herd somewhere there was more but it was awhile ago)

They should make a add on where your Jun protecting Dr. Halsey and add a few more maps :D.

SPartan III's were never a part of that. In fact, the only Spartan II's that we know of that knew about S III's were Kurt and Jorge (And Kelly and Fred I believe? Maybe Linda?) Yes Noble Six would've joined the chief at Halo if he made it to the PoA, but this was all after the Prophet plan fell through. There was no plan B to go to Halo, Halo was found semi-randomly when the PoA did a semi-random (thanks to Cortana) jump through slipspace to escape Reach.

i think noble 6 wasn't supposed to die and master chief was supposed to lead a small team of spartan III's like noble six and a few other remaining spartans. but remember it all went wrong so MC was plan B. and i think Cortana picked noble 6 because he survived that wicked crazy fall from space

A month at tops 2. Cortana's opening was a monologue. She wasn't talking to anyone, nor did Chief and Cortana discuss why she chose him.

noble six was just a carier u have to remember this took somthing like 1000 years before halo 1 even came out second (and im not 100% because i havent played halo 1) but in halo 3 cortana said "they let me pick u know, pick a sparten from the team Master Cief "why did u pick me? As many have told you, the Cortana of Halo: Reach was a fragmented part of the actual Cortana. This fragment then chose Noble Six to be her courier to the Pillar of Autumn. Chief was, and still is, her first choice for her carrier and partner.
