Armor unlocks after rank of General Grade 4
Seems like by now everyone has unlocked the suspected armor that was predicted, but after General Grade 4 there is allegedly 9 more ranks,Field Marshall, Hero, Legend, Mythic, Noble, Eclipse, Nova, ForeRunner, Reclaimer, and Inheritor.
Field Marshall, and Hero have already been confirmed by some hardcore gamers reaching it.
Now the question is what armor is to come? Inheritor supposedly take 20,000,000cr to reach, and the most expensive item is only 2,000,000cr and was unlocked from the beginning.
Any speculations or references to unknown armor?

I have a friend who is approaching Legend and nothing more has been revealed in the Armoury to him that I can't see as a General.

[/quote] If you look on Halo Wikia it says that the last HELMET you unlock is an attachment for GUNGNIR which is unlocked at MYTHIC rank[/quote] ^^ Wait, .. what?! LINK ME!

maybe bungie gives them a code to type afetr they reach a certain level past general grade 4 and so its more of a untracable donload sent striaght from them mayeb idk dont listen to me im wack

Modders are already at Inheritor on offline accounts and have shown that the only piece of armor after general that is unlocked is Haunted helmet. There is no other armor after general unless Bungie decides to release new armor.

Other than the haunted helm I don't believe there is anything, unless they plan on releasing new armor in a title update... I have an offline inheritor and the only extra thing is haunted...

I can tell you that there is. For instance the precious yet pathetic haunted helmet is unlocked at inheritor.

That requires the Inheritor rank.[/quote]Any Brigadier will happily confirm for you that the GUNGNIR helmet's CRBN attachment unlocks at Mythic, whilst its RS is unlocked with the Helmet at Brig.

Haunted is unlocked at Inheritor. Already confirmed by Bungie. All the rest is a complete mystery.

The reason offline players don't have the new armor is because the new armor was released during the lift of the level cap aka an update. Since it is through an update the information will not be on the disc and thus requires online gameplay to unlock. It works in simlar ways to how challenges cannot be earned offline.

They could add new armor as a required update or file to play online so you have the actual content on your hard drive even if you don't have access to use it yourself. Not saying it's going to happen, but it's possible if Bungie wanted to.

The final attachment for the Gungnir helmet doesn't unlock until Mythic. That's 4 ranks after Gen G4. The final attachment for Security I BELIEVE is at Noble. In other words...you are wrong. Those are the facts. [/quote] This is why i hate these threads, people dont even assimilate ALL of the info they are given. Go on youtube and look for any video about reaching the highest rank. You will find that there is no secret armor.

You can't get Jun's chest (he has a backpack on his and no knife). You can't get Jun's right shoulder - he has a blade on his. You can't get Kat's chest - it's default with robot arm. These armors are obviously all on the disc because the NPCs wear them in the game so I think it wouldn't be impossible for bungie to release them at some later date. Someone posted this idea on another thread I was reading yesterday: 10,000 sniper kills gets you Jun's right shoulder. They could do things like that perhaps?
