Pls make all dungeons have explore

It be absolutely brilliant to have all dungeons have explored mode. U could have explored mode have no exotic and catalyst. Put armour in whether it's legacy or not and a chance at a weapon. If Ur gonna make them tiered then I'd suggest t5 for the hardest difficulty. T4 maybe but like a 5% chance but have them at T3 lower PERSONALLY I'd be happy with the legacy armour and a chance at a weapon. Cause I care more about the dungeons itself. The gameplay, the scenery. Only done grasp and ones in rite of the nine on explore which I loved. And as much as I love grasp I can't do it solo. And every time I end up needing ppl it just ends up feeling like a strike than a dungeon. It ain't as fun

  • With the game live in 12 languages, this feature is pretty much a must-have. Not everyone has the English proficiency to seek help comfortably. In Korea, where efficiency is the top priority, it's quite challenging to find like-minded people who wish to enjoy the adventure at a relaxed pace without killing the vibe

Loved it when they did this last year played my first dungeons all the way through for the first time got to see what all the fun was about… been playing since D1 and have never been able to finish a dungeon or raid… now if they could just take the timers off of all the harder comment for those of us who are old and clan less lol….

Explorer mode aside... If full on difficulty raids and dungeons were matchmade ya'll would jump on it. You guys who want to play dungeons/raids but not want to use the party finder do so to avoid drama and toxicity, yet you would experience the same thing and just as much of it if it were matchmade. So if you guys who want to play this content but wont through party finder because drama and toxicity, but would if it were matchmade knowing they'd experience it anyway... It's not really the issue is it? It's the exact same experience just auto grouping instead of manual grouping. There's some ulterior reason ya'll can't explain that you feel more relaxed when in a matchmade group over a party finder group.

    • I loved the Rite of the Nine event, and the explore mode that made dungeons accessible to the wider community. Unfortunately you are asking for extra work and effort to be applied to already existing content, right after Bungie just announced, "you know that stuff we said we were gonna do? We didn't do it, we need three more months." Marathon launch is consuming their bandwidth right now, so I guess it falls on us to fill in the gaps. I will be playing Destiny on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting at 2pm Eastern US time, and I will teach any player any dungeon, no experience needed. We use discord and mics to talk, and our community is patient, chill, and PG (I'm a school teacher IRL). If anyone reading this wants to learn a dungeon, or just needs a team to run one, come see me. I have helped thousands of Guardians get their first clear of raids and dungeons and I am streaming on twitch when I'm on. My twitch name is the same as my Bungie name ARTFUL 5, I don't need viewers, I just offer helps, jump in chat and type !rookie, you get next. We also run raids, but finding 6 people that want to run the same raid is tough these days. TLDR: Will teach dungeons, no experience necessary, bring mic and discord, ARTFUL 5 Cheers!

      • Sounds like a fantastic idea, they should just make strike version of all raids and dungeons. This would be the best thing Bungie has ever done for the community, and everyone who has yet to do any raids and dungeons can finally go in and do them after all this time. Tegridy

      • I would LOVE to see Dungeon & Raid areas opening as Patrol spaces. No exotic, no catalyst, no spoils. Jus the area to explore with the odd pocket of enemies & patrol/adventure nodes within the area. It's even ez to slot into the lore in most instances... >Guardian, tho ______ has been defeated, their subordinates continue to resist.. get there & clear out the remnants.. cleanse this battlefield<

        • I'd take explore mode just to be able to teach myself how to do a dungeon without needing to hassle the dwindling population of people who teach, and praying I get someone who can have patience enough to deal with the way I learn things. Because here is the thing - unless the mechanic is super simple and I can see how each part moves together without having it be a bunch of different things multiple players have to do? I can't watch a video on it. I can't read a guide on it. I can't have someone just tell me it. My brain won't process it. I have to actually have a bit of explanation, then try and do and figure out, fail a few times maybe, see where I am going wrong or right, physically work all the mechanics myself to get the greater picture. Trial and error. It is also, unless someone doesn't like learning that way, the way I teach dungeons myself. And not many people are willing to sit through teaching someone that way, which I get. It is a lot of time investment, a real test of endurance and patience. An explorer mode would eliminate that. It allows people the opportunity to explore tactics, find their own strategies, build their own confidence. Personally, I loved it in RotN. It allowed me to finally learn, and complete, Ghosts of the Deep, and not being able to earn the exotic in the dungeon itself didn't bother me, because honestly I just wanted to learn it and get a clear. It would also get more and more people into the endgame, get more and more players actually having the confidence to approach people to form teams to regularly complete this content. People complain that there isn't enough people doing this content - well, here is how you get more people into it. People complain about teaching, or about people being too lazy to watch a guide? With this, no more teaching fatigue, no more excuses to not know how because you have a mode that literally guides you through it. "But it'll ruin the fun of raid/ dungeon races" - so then have explore mode come out a couple of months after a new raid/dungeon drops. "But that just poops on those in the past that did it the hard way" - see point above, but also I'm willing to bet those same people either are tired of teaching, or don't play anymore. And then you got other things in game like the Monument to Lost Lights, which already "cheapens" the hard work people used to do getting exotic weapons, and you don't see anyone complaining about that, because it actually allowed a more level playing field and gave people more freedom to play and explore weapons and builds they might not have been able to before! Which is exactly what the explore mode would allow, as well as get more people into endgame content, which would reduce fatigue on having to teach because more people know it, which would probably also increase people willing to teach not only because there are more people available to teach, but because people would be more willing to teach just one or two people instead of 4 or 5 people because most people will have some idea how it works. Everybody wins with explore mode, and anyone who says it is a bad thing is honestly just trying to gatekeep at this point.

        • I’m surprised they got rid of Explorer mode. It helped lots to get the basic understanding of dungeons they haven’t done while earning some loot. Oh wait, im not suprised, it’s Bungie, anytime they put something decent into the game they remove it.

          • The explorer mode was something worked on by the previous dev team, that got mostly purged after Final Shape's success. It is likely that the people who made it no longer work on Destiny, or even at Bungie for that matter.

          • You keep asking for things that require staff, & budget, & a will. Bungie have none of that, zero. Theres zero chance this happens.

Tier 1 and tier 2 drops coming from explore dungeons would be more than okay.
