Was there a new triumph you needed to claim or had you just never completed the ‘Cut with Dark Age Steel, O Vengeance Mine' triumph during the previous season?
I completed my run solo yesterday with the appropriate loadout, but since I completed the triumph noted above during the previous season, I am not sure there is anything else to 'claim', so it leaves some uncertainty about whether it 'counted'.

Yeah, I just hadn't done and claimed the triumph until before now. Figured it would be good to include me claiming it in my recording just in case Bungie try and say I don't qualify somehow. Not that they should, but I've seen enough stories so I'd rather have the evidence just in case. In this case, a triumph popping that is literally invalidated if you land a final blow with any other weapon, or you leave.

It's not tied to the triumph. They'll just process all the solo clears over the week and verify kills.
