How does Liars Handshake work exactly?
I’ve used spirit of liars on prismatic Hunter several times but I seem to be getting very inconsistent results.
At the stand at -30, if I dodge / punch red bars to get combination blow x3 and then punch a Champions [u]with cross counter active[/u] it deals 28k damage, which is insane, at almost twice a T-crash with cuirass (I’m at -30 here).
But if I do the same (comb blow x3) but punch the Champions [u]with a charged melee first [/u]and then immediately again with cross counter it does way less damage.
Which lead me to my question, why? is there a proper way to trigger Liars Handshake?

2 RepliesWhat’s crazy about liars handshake in PvP is you don’t need to be melee’d for the perk to proc. The opponent can lunge without making impact and it’ll count as getting melee’d. As long as they swing your melee damage is buffed

1 ReplyI’ll comment for attention… I do not know the break down, But the gist is that bungie added some weird cool downs to the perk. I can not find the same consistency it once had.. of which was a beast of a build. But hopefully a bigger brain will see this post and break it down. I would like a refresher myself.

Oh, it works like this. Hunters put it on, then destroy me when I get close to them. 100% positive thats how it works.
