2 RepliesEdited by MNN8TV: 1/6/2026 2:16:01 AMThey have always been one of the highest single shot damage sources for sure. Could be intended, could not be intended 🤷🏻♂️ hard to tell with Bungie sometimes. Pretty sure in some OG GM nightfalls it was a 1 tap.

Yeah, it feels like that damage bug resurfaced again from a few seasons ago.

4 RepliesSadly Ai does not get nerfed, they only get stronger. We however gets nerfed in nearly every single patch.

Edited by IcyHorizons: 1/6/2026 8:42:39 AMEspecially with the deadly threat modifier active. Public Ultimate difficulty activities with deadly threat active are almost impossible because everyone dies and the revives go bye-bye.

Agree need a significant tuning down

It honestly feels like everything hits harder in PVE lately.

2 RepliesYeah, it's the same with the eliksni snipers too. Four of them going at me the other night, it was like a roadrunner cartoon watching me try to find cover. I didn't find cover and I died instead.

3 RepliesIn looking at the Forum posts like this you can see similar comments about balancing issues in pve. And I feel like this all falls under the umbrella of the death of the power fantasy in Destiny. Getting one shot by a red bar sniper that takes me an entire clip to kill doesn't feel like I'm very powerful. Clearly killing the Witness was some sort of bizarre fluke. The Witness didn't need the Darkness he just needed to grab a sniper rifle from a scorn.

Farm or get farmed

They've been broken since the start of Forsaken

They've been hitting above their weight class since they were introduced in forsaken

Fallen snipers have been the same way. I love getting sniped midair by some low level trash mob cherry picking from some advantageous point where I can barely get to them.
