Red crystal invasion
I have played invasion over and over and over and the red crystal is not dropping at all. Have had clan members have the same issue. One got it after over 40 invasions. Is it ment to be this way ?

I got mine after 10 or so invasions. I guess it’s just RNG.

I got it after 50+ invasions. This is why I have always hated RNG. I personally loved crafting and I enjoy having a quest for anything exotic related, even if its busywork sometimes but at least is guaranteed. Seeing my buddy get the crystal after 7 invasions really annoyed me. I don’t have a gambling problem like most destiny players so yeah I will always hate the RNG aspect of this game.

1 ReplySomeone who does a total of 2 invasion gets it, yet the person that does it 50 times…. None for you. Whoever thought, “hey, lets punish our players who play the most! Thats a fun idea.” Should really stay out of the making games business.

This old tortoise is somewhere around the 30-40 runs zone…if/when it does drop - I’m done with invading. My bigger issue is getting the invade tokens in the first place…it’s not a fun grind for me. 🧐 The whole ‘raise the floor’ vibe is just ridiculous! Just look at the numbers! 👈 SMH 🙄 Ease Things! 🤔

It drops Mine took exactly 42 runs Of course it seemed even longer w the fact you have to get deathmarks in between running out of them.

2 RepliesIt’s just bad RNG unfortunately. I managed to get the “Undertaker” title before it dropped for me. Yet I got the yellow crystal literally an hour after I watched a video on how to get it. My RNG for an exotic order was better than the RNG for invading.

Tried lots of runs on my warlock, switched to my hunter and possibly did more runs and it dropped, was around 60 runs combined

1 ReplyI told myself after 50 if I don’t have it, I’m not gonna run it anymore, but my grandson got it today after his second run both losses no crests. So I ran 10 more just like he did. I still don’t have it and I’m not gonna get it. One of the only things that ever bothered me with this game Is you spend so much time doing one thing over and over again because of RNG that you don’t do some of the other stuff you want to do.

I saw luckytop playing it and as soon as he invades he calls in that brig walking tank thing . Like that it is easy to get kills . But what if it is reversed ? How tf can you counter that thing with no heavy that shoots missiles at you and there are enemies targetting only you , not even the other player ? And people do 40 runs of these to get a freakin light saber color and don't even get one . 😂😂😂 Destiny 2 players have gone crazy .

Edited by THE GRIND IS REAL: 12/13/2025 5:39:08 PMIm done for a while d2 can stay on the backburner library for a bit, this playlist is so out of balance its insane, 3 mechs vs 1 guardian with no heavy on every match but 1 , i have an active life so cannot slave away getting upgrades in the first week of a dlc being dropped . And even if I did 1 mech won't beat 3 Bungies so out of touch they deserve the bankruptcy they are facing,i even did an exotic mission solo earlier on grandmaster to find out it only drops b grade gear for endgame what a joke

it's completely random, you can get it even when failing to get all kills/crests

Edited by COMBATICUS: 12/14/2025 1:29:36 AMI ran it nearly 2 weeks and wasn't getting anything either. I mean, the loot itself is a bit trash, even when you win. But I finally said, "You know what? It's been at least a minimum of 50 runs already. So I stacked those chips, and I wagered all of it. I won that first run of the max wager, I not only got a near or flawless run but was able to finish the emblem, get the title, and the stone dropped all at once. So I dont know, but save your chips, you can try to do max wager 3 or 4 times in a row. I had about 14 from all the time I was grinding

You could try wagering your death marks and see if that helps. Mine took awhile but invasions are also like 2 minutes tops.
