I had been playing on Destiny 2 on Console for years now. I added an Old Steam account to my Bungie account years back. The email i have access to, and the old steam account, Both still work. I recently bout a PC. and had to make a steam account back like 2 years ago, which is my main email. my seconday email "now", was once my main email for when i was a kid. It was made back in 2006? so while i still have it i dont use it anymore. Sadly that steam account thats attached to my main bungie account with my 10k hours and well over 2k in spent dollars wont let me remove that old steam account from it? it say i have to wait 90 days to remove cross save, and even then i dont know if i will get access to my account anymore. I would like to use the account and merge it with my new one. I had just rebought all of the DLCs and the new expansion so i could play with friends. Bungie if you see this can i please get some help?

Edited by BNGHelp5: 12/9/2025 9:10:17 AMHey there, as of March 2025 it is no longer possible to unlink accounts, so unfortunately the current link settings will remain as-is. So there is no way to use the newer Steam account or any purchases on it, with that older character set. But I don't see why the current set should be considered 'lost'. Once the cross-save cooldown elapses, you can set it up again. You'd have to use the old Steam account, or if you don't want the hassle of multiple accounts, consider playing the XBox for Windows PC store version as you've got an XBox Live account linked too. Either way will let you continue playing that old account on your current PC.
