the solo ops and fireteam ops playlist rewards are impossible to get if your power level is too high, I'm level 370 and i can only score a c+ and that keeps me from getting the rewards that are offered if you get a b+ or higher, fix this, there are new weapons that i cant get at all and that's ridiculous

From what I can tell the reason it feels so bad in most cases is because we were getting portal score boosts from the season pass and then it reset. After I got my first portal score boost this season, I was then getting B-B+ on everything match made on Ultimate and less modifiers needed to be used for customizing. Then you got the problem that I think the portal score boost is a part of the paid track, so that automatically needs a change.

3 RepliesI’m 550 and have given up on any solo, GM or Ultimate options. It’s all just too difficult for me. Barriers get health bar back before I can switch to a rocket etc, stun an overload for a millisecond etc etc. I’m enjoying the story and have the light saber but I fear that may be getting near the end if my abilities.

See, this right here is the main problem with the portal; You have to know how to set it up. And I'm guessing that the OP doesnt know - because he's not terminally online, which is a good thing. To be able to play Destiny you basically have to scout info online - and that is another big issue with this game. I think we all thought that the portal would be a streamlined experience you could jump in to. I'm pretty sure that's even how it was advertised. In reality it's basically a custom lobby where you have to fiddle around with modifiers every time to get any rewards worthy of your time. It's a terrible system.

It has been like that since the portal went live. If you want daily rewards, you need to go custom solo or fireteam ops at Master, Grandmaster or Ultimate. The irritating thing is that the game is much more fun below 300 and with renegades, bungie boosts everyone, even new players to above 300.

1 ReplyMaybe it would help if, oh I don't know, people played the objectives instead of ad clearing with their new Light Sabre for the entire run. It's really fun carrying all six bits of cargo yourself because you're paired up with two people who would need watered twice a week if they got any dumber. My favourite bit was watching these two clowns try to light sabre the Final Boss to death, die instantly, and then do the exact same thing again. And again. Surprisingly, we failed that run. The whole idea is to work together. Which some people can't do.

Stop running Quickplay. It’s only at normal difficulty. Run Master or Grandmaster custom ops.
