I know it is because it's a reminder why this game got messed up in the first place and bungie's refusal to acknowledge anything that needs to be fixed. I made this as a reply to someone who gained 900 points for the event and I feel like the what I said really summarizes what needs to be fixed and how to save the game. "Yeah no hate congratulations but honestly more people would do what you did if the rewards were actual new gear not cosmetics... It's not that hard to accomplish over 900 points as long as you have the right build and the right team. That's why the players numbers are so low lack of content lack of gear rewards."

30 RepliesThe irony is people like you are the problem. If everyone just chilled tf out until the scores lock in, the bar would be lower & more people could hit the threshold for the rewards.

It's more like a call to a pointless grind. The sooner you guys speak with your wallets and time investment, the sooner they will be forced to change. For w.e reason like lost puppy, we all come back and take their crap every DLC, every season, every update. It's the same crap recycled.

If my Salt Mines / Proving grounds scores go below 10% again then I'm done. I honestly don't even like the helm and only put in some scores for the sake of simply unlocking it.

1 ReplyMhm, after reaching my limit in the Salt Mines, i decided to bite the bullet and play Crucible for the 10% position. Even then, it was rough but i managed it. With how high my scores are for 30%/10% position, i don’t feel like i would falloff for the helmet. But still, if i want to play a competitive event, Guardian Games is literally right there. Plus you get rewarded with a lot more loot in Guardian Games.

4 RepliesYou are high enough power to get a Salt Mines run that will be pretty untouchable. Run the hammer build with Hammer of Sol (not Burning Maul). Load Salt Mines on the maximum difficulty with maximum modifiers. Reload if you don't get Ability Kills or Combatant Kills as a side mission. Reload if you don't the HVT at the bottom of the drop down. Run it until you can clear with 7 minutes left. That should get the maximum possible score. Clearing with 6:45 left is probably safe as well.

The scores are going to get manipulated as the next step with be the cheaters will step in as we're now at this stage we're a sub par 3 minutes runs are total impossible to do.. I'm sat at 3.4 mil on salt mines and now been pushed back to 10% bracket. This entire event is now a huge dumpster fire with extreme anger towards Bungie once again for dropping the ball Personally I feel if you hit the 3.3+ mark with all side objectives complete at 550 light you should automatically qualify for the rewards

5 RepliesYes it sucks, just do not play. I tried a few times, i, me, cannot get it done. I have walked away. Bungie wants to make something for all the elite players at 550 LL, fine, I just will not participate.

Moving the goal Post was definitely not the correct move... The rules and rewards should have been made clear a month ago the scoring originally was fine it's the lack of consistency that's bad and a lack of solo verity should have had at least 3 solo options for events missions and no RNG objectives for competitive consistency....

2 RepliesThis event is garbage. The hvt should ALWAYS be there. Not on 1 out 25 runs which has to be without the score drones that bug out like the shield drones. Crap like this is why D2 is not dying it is already dead. I already have Renegades preordered but that is probably last money they get from me. They rigged it so lower power level gets bigger score help to get more points than us 550 power. If your under power score get you close like top 10% not top 1%. Way to reward the people not playing your game to get to 550 and taking a big dump on those of us who never left. I think i leave so next time i play bungie can just hand me everything so i dont have to earn it. RIP Destiny 2.

I've given up on this event... It's just not for me because I'm not willing to keep running the same 5 options on repeat for 2 weeks straight. One minute we're up and the next we're down.. Nah I'm good... I've accepted that I will not get the helmet, shader, or emblem... Come on Renegades!!!

1 ReplyIt is the dumbest thing they have ever done, it is only ever going to be earned by the top players. They should have made it earnable by everyone and like a holofoil version for the top 10%. They are so out of touch with theri player base.

Free daily chest and a few tokens for Renegades gear (which will probably be trash we we pick them up), past that THE WORST EVENT in Bungo history! Not even going to waste time on the scoring bs.
