Let's be honest from the start, a PC port of D1 ain't happening. That said, D1 is still fun as is and D2 hit the apex at Forsaken. Sure, if you're an fps snob D1 is "unplayable", but for us regular folk a solid 30 fps is perfectly fine.
All that said, here's a poll on D1 and D2. Would you buy a D1 and D2 ReSpace version? D1 stays as is and D2 keeps all content up through Forsaken.
All campaigns are replayable at any point. If you want that sweet special gear, you get it by playing that high end content.

3 RepliesThey know if they ported D1 onto PC people would go back to that, that’s probably why they don’t do it

4 RepliesWhy buy D1 again? I already have one. Much better then Destiny 2.

No, most players are not looking for more old socks brought back by this company... We need something new. And the only way to achieve that is bungo actually developing something that fits our needs. Or just drop D1 and D2 to start D3 and learn from mistakes made in D1 and D2....

As much as I'm a sucker for remakes/remasters with the works updated ('Dead Space Remake' being fantastic and I'll probably be picking up several others like 'Silent Hill 2'), I feel as though remakes and remasters are getting somewhat too common these days; not just in gaming, either. New IPs need to take precedence, in my opinion.

5 RepliesEdited by Killapete232: 10/15/2025 7:08:57 PMThe problem is that the red war which plays into D2 is not there and imho would make it pointless. I do agree a port for destiny 1 should be made for PC, but then they would need to make the servers work for that. Not sure how they would do so without needing to utilize more resources to doing so.

1 ReplyWhat is a ReSpace ? I know about remasters and remakes but that's a new one for me. ps I must be some kind of fps snob as when I try D1 again I find the 30fps to have a lot more negative impact than I did back when I played it regularly.

Biggest issue is that d2 versions that old simply no longer exist. I'd prefer then reheat the tools to allow people to mod things, sort of like the bethesda dev kit. That, and the ability to host private servers, as well as play offline. I'm more concerned about longevity than a remake/remaster.
