First, so I’m now at 400+ and it seems that I can’t go into matchmaking activities and get anything over 400 (modifiers are only for Master lvl and all give nothing over 400), so am forced to use a Fireteam for all casual play if I want gear levelling even a little bit? Second, I get that you want us to use new gear, but this upgrade economy is beyond stupid, it’s actively punishing beyond belief. Why spend YEARS collecting rolls of gear you like (and want to use in a game you enjoy and have spend hundreds of dollars on) and then have zero choice but to use nothing but 6 items because you have to spend days and days getting enough Cores to upgrade even one weapon? Combine those both together and you have not only an unworkable game setup for casual play / loot grind, but you have a game that is taking all the fun out of upgrading loot while it’s actively punishing you for wanting to use gear you’ve collected. No one has thought this through from the long time player’s POV, and it depresses me. I’ve been generally willing to ride through these ups and downs of yours lately, but now I’m at 400 it feels like you literally don’t want me to grind/level, because you’ve both taken all ability for me to just jump online and level up slowly, and you’ve essentially locked out thousands of hours of gear collecting by making it near impossible to use. Oh yeah, last thing: I get why locked loadouts are essential in the very highest activities but we’ve had them since leveling over 300. Honestly, it’s just another way to suck all the incentive (and fun) out of playing around with the loot you want us to grind for. I’ve literally had the same 5 weapons in rotation for weeks now. Is that really what you were wanting for our game experience? Ok rant over. But I do hope someone at Sony/Bungie is reading these comments. Thx
