These Crossbow "RNG Drops" Are A Problem Bungie. What Gives??
Is ANYONE having luck with these? I've played COUNTLESS IB matches, along with the missions last week ...ZERO drops.
Like seriously...how weighted down are these things?
Edit: I have now run about 30-35 MORE matches, ZERO DROPS. Mostly "A" ranks. This is depressing and not fun.
Edit:2: OMG...it FINALLY dropped! (On Warlock ) Tier 5 too. I was literally about to give up. But 82 games though? You WON Bungie. You won.

I got 3 drops first 2 days after the patch. Zero since. I legit am wondering if it's even still in the loot pool at this point.

A lot of people don't understand how works is to get to crossbow you gotta have at least an A score I got it after a third run of reclaim when it was released. The way the system is It treats to crossbow like a prime drop. The drop rates are low but you have a higher chance to get it to drop if you achieve the highest score possible. Frankly bungee could address this but they don't want to because this is a good way to keep player numbers up to increase the grind because currently they are treated in the grind like contact that's why they decrease the progression to make leveling slower compared to when edge of fate was released.

3 RepliesBack during the devstream they mentioned how they were purposefully going to have the bow's drop rate be rather low, because it will be focusable during an event at the end of the season. They don't want folks getting the bow early because then that later event is less appealing I guess?

Yet crafting our loot was a problem even when patterns were rare apparently to all the people who'd rather interact with this bad system All loot should have the same rng %, bungie is doing this intentionally they know what they're doing, they seem to manage to turn Ws in Ls so easily

Now you know what under delivering to prevent creating patterns of high expectations feels like. This is the mindset of d2 from loot to story to level progression. It’s absolutely idiotic and insulting and bungie deserves to go bankrupt for developing games with this as its core belief. Destiny 2 is broken and as we know you just can’t fix stupid.

I got one in the first hour of play this season .. Not a good roll .. Then never seen another one.. Rank 15 in Ironbanner and never had one drop.. I have had most other armor sets drop , hardly any ironbanner armor.. Needed more weapons in the pool also..

2 from reclaim after like 20 completions. Big fat 0 from iron banner or any portal activities.

I had three drop last week during the reclaimed event. I have only had one drop this week during Iron Banner.

ive had 2 t5 drops in IB. Really only played banner for the armor drops which for me was a very rare thing to see after each game

God roll T5 HCs and TR....tons of T5 armor so far. Only 1 T5 crossbow, and it was meh. These events are just not worth farming for the xbow....

Not a sniff yet although Bungie said they'd increased the drop rate from 25% to 33%. More like 2.5% to 3.3%. I don't think the US has got the hang of decimal yet, and keeps forgetting the to add the decimal point.

Yes drop rate is really low for the Crossbow and HC. I’ve done a lot of Reclaim activities and IB and I only got 2 crossbows.
