Why the fixation on Siva

Remember back in the day when we fought the flood in Halo? For those of us who grew up with OG Halo days. Gen Z and Gen A will probably never understand the reference. Because once upon a time in a universe far away (not Star Wars) there was these fungus alien spores that could animate living and the dead. They could accumulate bio mass and turn into sentient hyper intelligent forms called graveminds. Then from simple worker drones accumulating bio mass to full fledged armies of fungal undead. Now relevance, Siva is basically the nano machine equivalent to flood spores. Siva can twist and corrupt and operate semi sentient. I would imagine that it could get out of hand. If anyone remembers the Replicators from Star Gate SG1 and Star Gate Atlantis? (Again Gen Z and Gen A will have no clue about that Sci Fi reference. Literally 10-20 years before their time) Siva could potentially be like Destiny equivalent to the Replicators. Without Rasputin to control Siva or give it further Directives it could potentially adapt and could very well begin replicating. The untapped potential for Siva makes it possible that we could very well enjoy further development regarding Siva. Rise of Iron was (for Destiny 1 veterans) an excellent expansion. Edit: Consider Siva as a possible new enemy type for the game

  • Spoilers Some people got to it OoB... I will say nothing more 👀. Not necessarily a confirmation, but weird... why add those assets?

  • First of all, I understand all of those references and love them. Second of all, Siva as a new enemy type would be amazing. And no... I don't want siva in every expansion, season, or update. It would just be nice to see it every once in a while. At this point it would be nice to see it return just once. I love how Bungie has said it would take too long and too much money to bring over, but at this point even if they had 1 person working on it they could have made a full siva expansion by now. Price it at $60 and reprise wrath, maybe throw in a full siva ornament set in Eververse for $20. Instant win.

    • I loved the 'SG' franchise. It's too bad 'SG-U' never got a proper ending for the series.
