PLATFORM: PlayStation / PlayStation 5 Pro ISSUE: When using Hierarchy of Needs exotic bow, the second part of the catalyst perk is non-functional. The catalyst perk states “Deploying a Guidance Ring or striking a target with a seeking projectile improves draw time and reload speed for a moderate duration.” However, currently only deploying the Guidance Ring allows for the benefit. REPRO STEPS: Step-by-step instruction list on how to reproduce this bug, try to be as succinct as possible: 1. Build up three charges of Guidance Ring. 2. Deploy Guidance Ring, enabling the timer to start counting down the improved draw time and reload speed. 3. While firing the bow, the charges for Guidance Ring will continue to build but striking targets does not refresh or extend the timer. 3a. Upon deployment of a new Guidance Ring, the timer and perk benefits are enabled again. ACTUAL RESULT: Please see point 3 and 3a. EXPECTED RESULT: When striking a target with the seeking arrows, the timer would not expire and instead refresh, smoothing out the draw-fire-reload loop. NOTES: Prior to the rework of the bow in Edge of Fate, there were no issues with the bow. That might give some insight into the underlying code differences in how the engine is interpreting the actions and narrow down what currently is not interacting with the timer refresh.
