Bro why is the drop rate so low on the cross bow
I played most of yesterday after reset and into the early morning hours and dumped another two hours into that featured reclaim activity trying to get a crossbow to drop and nothing. Why is it so impossible to get one of these things

1 ReplyEventually got one it's a heavy weapon and I'll be completely honest it's not worth it it's fun to run around with and kill rank and file enemies with but anything other than that it's useless you're not doing any major DPS with it by any means.

Its "rare" which means in Bungie world that its controlled. I have 50'ish runs in this weekly event where it should drop. In twid they said it can drop from any portal activity making my "run count" even bigger. If crossbow is that one youre missing then after 15-20 runs you should just stop and move to another game. You aint gonna get it. But, as we all know... We won't do it and Bungie knows it very well. They know it because those behavioral psychologists they bragged about using, told them this. Were in hamsterhell......

[i]Edit: To correct myself, the Crossbow will be a rare drop across all [b]Ash & Iron[/b] Events but will be Focusable during the final [b]Call to Arms[/b] Event right before [b]Renegades[/b] drops. There is no drop rate scaling between successive Events.[/i] This unfortunately does not help if you just want it right now regardless of the roll, however if your intention is to get a specific Perk combination [i]at some point[/i] during Ash & Iron it may be best to pace yourself for the time being and wait until the drop rate increases before fully embracing the grind. 4 RepliesI got mine before reaching 400. Try a lower Level and see if that works It seems like 400-450 has bad drops and I'm already dreading the progression.
