Reminder, I will not play if they reset to 200
Bungie, just in case you think the TWAB made everything ok it didn’t.
I will not come back if power is reset to 200. Reset to 400 is fine. It would be different if gear dropped at your tier and never below but all the grind gets you is a chance to get gear at your level.

They’ve already reset it just stop playing already,uninstall for a month then see how you feel,make your words have impact.

The motive being to give any new players brought in by Renegades less feeling of being left behind from the veteran players. Then, Bungie will suddenly "hear" us and promise not to do it again. At least until they think up a new way to screw players over and sunset gear & resources to force more engagement per player. With any luck Sony will shut them down this spring before they impliment more evil plans and do even further damage to the Destiny brand.

Agreed. They have time to change their minds and just let us keep grinding up like they did before. They’ve shown in the last couple weeks they are capable of that. I run a business and have a family and can’t dedicate enough time to this game to reach the power level I need to do higher leveled activities. If my progress gets reset I’ll probably quit too. There are other games to play and other developers that value their players and their time more than Bungie.

You would have to be crazy to regrind that BS seriously . Not to mention all the armor you have will be garbage . That's the hook . so then they throw the grind into overdrive for player retention . The game was over with the final shape . There is no point of even playing it ,if it's only to run gm conquest ,gilded is nothing anymore with no strikes and zero replay. play free forget power grind if you like pvp it's a option also. but honestly there are other games this ride has ended with the layoffs.

Bungie don't care not the execs or the devs ever since EOF outside of Armor 3.0 it's been a complete dumpster fire with communication between community and the studio. These twabs only show their arrogance believing player goodwill is endless because of their name alone it's pathetic.

A reset to 200 would also drive me away from this game. The light level grind isn't fun. We don't want to do recycled content to farm an artificial number that doesn't mean anything anymore besides what tier loot you get. This is how you push away casuals, and destroy your player base. If the next major update cycle doesn't offer us something to play other than the same dozen or so strikes and handful of exotic missions, this game is going to be on life support by Christmas. I don't understand what's going through the minds of the people in charge at Bungie right now. This game can make money. You just have to invest into meaningful content that doesn't -blam!- on peoples chests when it comes to your "Engagement above all us" policies. But the fact that the IP was licensed out to a Gatcha game at the same time we have a Tiered 1-5 Star system introduced is very telling. I love this game, but -blam!- me is it getting really hard to play.

6 RepliesAt this point, I see NO reason why power grind is still a thing. It’s artificial play time. Should remove it all together. Same with gear tiers, it’s just stupid.

On the bright side, it’s better than starting at level 10. But yeah I’d rather go start at 400 or at least 300. 200 is still a bit too much to grind back up.

Agreed. I dont play 430 levels to only get 420 gear that's ridiculous not to mention the Kepler buy for 1 tier higher is still broke. If bungie cared as much about their fan base as they do get money it would probably be a good game again

2 RepliesI don't mind the power level reset tbh , cant see the point though The bigger issue is if they unfeature all the stuff we got this season , if that happens it will not matter what power they reset it too as the grind will start all over again and for what ? If it ends up grinding for ar5mour and weapons just for a season then by the time you are high enough for T5 then it will start all over again. At that point the game becomes a 6 monthly grind for nothing so in turn becomes pointless to even bother

Yeah reset to 200 means back to farming tier 1-2 weapons unless you grind all your way up to 500 now. The can’t imagine it as sustainable.

That why I will stop grinding but new mission or exotic quest. I will play it.
