Returning player - pushed me right back out of the game

So, been gone for a while and now that life slowed down again I figured I would come back and give it a try. Let me tell you, that was a mistake as bungie has not made this entertaining at all. I look at Destiny 2 as a looter shooter, where you can play as a hero, feel powerful, defending the world, etc..... What did I get? 1. A system designed to make this grind like a death march because everything is linked to power level reductions no matter how far you get on the treadmill, you will always feel behind unless everything is set up correctly with no room for mistakes. 2. legacy content has been make completely worthless except I have to attempt to grind it if I want to have any chance for either Strand or Trancendence.... except for no one is running any of that so you are left alone trying to grind up a worthless rep for gear that is trashed. 3. Then to just cap off everything, while trying to run up the treadmill I tripped over the fact that I am now overleveled for Keplar Fabled so I have to try and run "The Message" without a completely metah build or full gear set. Several hours of getting my -blam!- handed to me was sure enjoyable on a Sunday I might as well mow the lawn with scissors for the enjoyment factor with nothing to show for it. 4. And finally gear which is locked hard behind other content so I am never going to see gear in a looter shooter, and I don't just mean the Raid gear but whole armor sets I will never see since I never get to that content. Ah well I get it a try, and it just reminded me of what I find an enjoyable past time and this is not it. I want to relax not just get frustrated and angry. Have a great day
