450 grind to hard
I spent all day to get one pinochle. Please make extra drops next week

The rng behind it is one of the worst things in the game. i went through 4 days of playing before l even saw one and it once again, landed on a weapons slot

2 RepliesI hate to disagree on this one, but I do. I hit 450 the other day. It's not hard, it's annoying as hell, tedious, but not hard. If you notice in a recent TWAB, Bungie said the the fastest way to get Primes is to get A ranks as fast as possible. I ran Caldera for like a week straight, ~8 hours a day. I tracked all the drops and found that while I was getting A ranks, I was averaging a prime every ~12 runs. At ~6 minutes orbit to orbit, I was getting a Prime every ~ hour 15 or so. When I started doing this, I was just getting B+ ranks and my average was more like every 20 runs.

[quote]I spent all day to get one pinochle. Please make extra drops next week[/quote] 450 isn’t meant to be hit atm. It’s just an extra grind that you get access to if you want it. In one week the cap goes to 550 and leveling to 500 will be easy. You won’t need 550 for anything.

20 RepliesIt's so hard that an old worn out guy like myself has been 450 since Aug 15 at 4AM EDT, just scrolled our clan discord to see as I posted in there. Now I'm just helping with campaign missions in the fireteam finder until Ash and Iron when I'll be able to farm more T5 items when the next reward ranks unlock. I don't need anymore 450 power T4 infusing fodder.

It's not hard at all. It's just very long and very boring. I ended up going back to playing Elite Dangerous as even that has less boring grind...

Are consistent tier 5 drops going to be pushed from 450 to some other power level when A&I comes out, meaning that like 99 % of players will never see those drops?

I wasn’t planning on engaging in the post 400 grind. Just so bad, and they are gonna raise the cap with ash and iron so it feels like a waste.

The 400 to 450 power grind has been designed by Bungie to maximise the grind mechanic they worship and it's a joke.

September 9th will have increased prime engram drop chances and sources and the progression will be a little better than what 350 to 400 was. Just play something else until then.
