Returning player: How to unlink steam account (deleted) from Cross save
Hi Guardians,
Hoping anyone can help. I am a returning player and I haven't played more than 1 and a half years.
Tried playing today via Steam (don't have any consoles) but I can't access my account since the email account used or any numbers associated with it were already lost after moving to USA. For the email, for personal reasons I deleted it last year however I unknowingly did not remember that it is tied to my steam.
Hope anyone has any ideas.
Don't know how to reach out to Bungie for help.

3 RepliesAs of March 25th, you are no longer able to unlink accounts (except Twitch) from a Bungie.net profile. In your specific situation, even if that change wasn't implemented, you would still need to regain access to the Steam account to have been able to unlink it. Your only way of playing on Steam with those characters/gear etc is the already linked one, so you'll need to work with Valve to try and regain access to it. If Steam can't or won't help you, then that means you can't access those characters/gear on Steam. Bungie will not unlink the account on your behalf.
