D2 needs to bring back Self Res/Factions/Strike Specific Loot/Raid armor ornaments, etc.
Bring everything back like in D1 or make a D3. Self Res was a classic. Bring it back to PVP so it can make classic moments in crazy clutch sweaty games or close games not PVE so that it doesn’t mess up Raids lol. Bring back random rerolls for weapons. Factions need new mechanics like new weapons, crafting or new ships or emblems or armor sets. Strikes that had specific loot like the skeleton keys were dope. Bring new strikes and new rewards and new armor sets plus loot that is earned by completing strikes and have unique rewards like a bonus ship or sparrow or shader. Bring Classic or new Playlists like SRL sparrow racing league or Combined Arms.

1 ReplyHonestly sounds like you want a destiny 1 remaster that's updated with d2s QOL changes. Actually... That might be a good idea. D1 remaster/ remake where they give it qol updates and just start making new content for it. Give it new expansions. Write a completely new story like d2 never happened. Would probably be better than what we have now. Then most of what you want is just there.

Add some no penalty free modifiers that are fun on weekly rotation and make it more rewarding. Add some playability/relevence back to destinations. It wouldn't be hard to give themselves breathing room by adding a little fun.
