Edge of Fate DLC Not Playable – BNGHelp has Directed me Back to the Forums (Case #408017)

Hello everyone, I'm writing to the forums after hitting a dead end with the official support channels. I’ve been playing Destiny 2 again after a long break and recently purchased the Edge of Fate DLC. The problem is that the campaign quests are not spawning for me at all. I've completed the introduction mission before I paid for the DLC and then purchased the DLC , but there are no quest markers on the map, no quests in the "Featured Quest" tab, and no progress has been made. I've already gone through several troubleshooting steps, including: * Searching the online forums for similar issues (and finding none). * Trying to restart the campaign by joining a fireteam. * "Restoring Licenses" as suggested by BNGHelp8 in my previous post. After following the instructions from BNGHelp8, I submitted a contact form and received a response stating, "our contact form and agents are not set up to investigate this issue." and I was directed back to the forums. I have already done the legwork here and couldn't find a solution, which is why I created a case ticket in the first place. My Help Request number is 408017. I have a non-functional product that I paid $40 for. If there is a known fix for this, please let me know. Otherwise, I need a clear path to either a solution or a refund, as the official support process has proven to be a closed loop. Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi there. Thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to hear about the runaround you've gone through. I've confirmed that you do own The Edge of Fate campaign on Steam. When you click Kepler on the Portal, is there a landing zone available for you to launch to? If so, once you land, you should be prompted to go to the Altar of Relativity and integrate the Strangelet Capsule you obtained from the first mission. If you are still having issues, can you provide screenshots of Kepler's map, and/or a video of you completing the first mission, including the end timer and what happens next? A YouTube, Twitter, or [url=https://imgur.com/upload/]Imgur.com[/url] link would be the best way for us to view it.

    • probably not going to be a clear path as you are in a one off situation. If you want a refund you have to contact the store that sold it to you. What platform are you trying to play on? Which store did you buy the expac on? If you go to that store's destiny 2 page does it show you own it?
