Dark Academia bug???
I've been trying to do Dark Academia and the game is NOT allowing me to Scan Remains. I did the workaround for (CE-34878-0) error, by not downloading required content 1, 2, and 3. Is this a residual side effect? Very frustrating.

That said, for anyone affected by this issue who is unable to complete the needed interactions with the shrine and remains for Dark Academia, we recommend completing the Outer Steppes Strangelet quest first. Some players have reported that fully finishing that quest, including turning in the Strangelet and watching the cutscene, enables the interactions required for Dark Academia. If this potential fix doesn't help, though, please let us know!

Hey there, unfortunately Dark Academia has a softlock if you have not completed a certain step in the Edge of Fate campaign. I forgot the exact step but that's what is causing it. If you complete the campaign, there should be no issue.
