  • I have the same issues. Crashes since the new Update from the Arms Week. Two times with my Prismatic/Arc hunter, especially when I do the grenade, melee, grenade, melee, … and then when the whole screen is full of bolts and lightnings. Then comes a short freeze, followed by a crash to desktop. My system is also a Core Ultra 265K and an RTX4080. System RAM is 32GB DDR5 6000 MHz.

  • I've also been experiencing this following the update on 7/29. I checked the integrity of the game files, updated all GPU drivers, and even performed a complete uninstall/reinstall of Destiny 2. Sometimes, I'll be able to play for an hour or two before it crashes and I have to restart; other times, it crashes after 10 minutes or so. It never shows an error code. The game just freezes and I get sent back to Windows. Monitoring this thread to see if anyone finds a solution.

    • i keep crashing when im doing ops. i did about 10 hours of crucible hardware and crashed maybe 2 times, but every time i try try to do an ops mission, my game freezes and closes (no error window or any sort of crash screen). happens less often when i try to do solo ops but crashes 99% of the time when i do fireteam ops. I've seen on reddit that it might have something to do with the intel CPU stuff. I've also tried changing graphics settings and even dropped my fps to 120 from 240, but nothing changed. i just bought this PC like 2 months ago so i know nothing is going bad. I've also been playing cyberpunk on the side on max graphics settings and its fine. i also have a few crash logs saved and they really don't give too much insight as to what causes the crashes. I've verified files on steam and nothing comes back as needing fixed. here's my specs too: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 265K (3.90 GHz) Installed RAM 32.0 GB System type Windows 11, 64-bit operating system Graphics card GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, 32GB

      • I can't tell if it's time / number of frames, or something more specific. It seems to crash on me when there is a LOT of elemental stuff going on (huge explosions, thunder strikes, lots of fire, etc.). It almost seems like the game is getting overwhelmed with the number of elements cascading at once.
