Arms week feedback
Please remove the guardian rank 5 requirement to focus engrams.
Please increase arms pass rewards pass xp earned from challenges (if my math is right we will only get to rank 12 from the challenges only so we will basically miss out on the hollow foil hc, or allow us to farm xp when we turn in telemetry to focus or play hardware.
For the focusing of loot please reconsider the telemetry costs because 35 to buy the engram then another 20 to open it is just robbery.
Otherwise the event seems solid.

I turned it off right after the banner came up that said "your arsenal has never felt more powerful." I'm pretty sure my arsenal was much more powerful before EOF. I can't take the gaslighting anymore.

1 ReplyI tried it, and abandoned it. In true Bungie fashion, they created a system that is so convoluted, so all over the place, so messy, that it's hard to follow. Even to get there, it's not a mark on a map, it's buried in the crap that is the Portal. The Portal is not an improvement, it's just a different Directory. Stand in front of Ada, and accept an engram, and be told, then and there, to talk to Ada! Hello! I'm right here! Use the shooting Range! How? What does it do? Get this perk immediately. As it will be taken a way in a week. I am so sick of the complications in actually operating the game, as in getting from one place to another. Bungie have absolutely killed any tiny desire to buy the game. It's hard to believe it is this bad. I'll continue to play a bit of free stuff for a while, and feel good about thumbing my nose at Bungie.

COMPLETELY RUINED THE EVENT WITH THAT. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It’s a complete waste of time and I don’t want to focus any of those other hand cannons when they’re not even adept or dropping red borders.

Rank 5 is intentionally mean, especially as they just reset all to rank 2 with eof.. what kind of idiot would do that?

I think it is a bug. I also only see 3 daily bounties. But I saw someone post a pic and their screen has a tab by the bottom daily bounty that shows a 4th bounty on a different page. I don't have a tab... Also I am guardian rank 5 and they are also rank 5 so that's not it. Hopefully they fix this somehow.

my complaint is that you can just run k1 logistics over and over for 25 event currency every 5ish minutes. but then you go and do the pvp event playlist and you get 15 for 8+ minutes of playtime. now the rewards for playing pvp are already bad and they need a buff to begin with, but this is just sad.

Arms of week is little better and I agree what you say about ranks. I have one problem during pvp mode (arms of week) cuz lot of fun when you play with hc vs hc. But it kind of ruin game mode when other players use auto, pulse, and scout (not hc) is coward move unless it hc is your secondary. If not, it ruin game mode. I wish it locked down arm type week with different weapon type. That would be bit improvement for noobs like me or others don’t play much HCs on other PvP mode.

Seems intentional to get you to either buy the final ranks or buy resets for the daily challenges.

I’m guardian rank 2. I haven’t touched PvE since EoF launched. I can focus Arms Week engrams. I believe it’s a typo, it should be Event rank, not Guardian rank. I was able to focus after ranking up the event pass, though I can’t say at what rank it unlocked. I had 1000 silver, used it to buy 10 ranks. Afterwards I was able to focus for the HC. The cost is high though, 20 for the engram, then 35 to focus is a bit much. It makes more sense to turn the engram in to Rahool and save the 35.

The only thing I don’t like is that the only way to get hgiher tiers is from the rewards shop and not from the actual event. Making it so you can only get 3 high tier drops during the event

Would be neat if we could keep something as basic as Cowboy Grip just so hip-firing is accurate.

1 ReplySeems that focusing the engram guarantees a T2 drop, while just bringing it to Rahool makes it T1. So you can opt out of the second telemetry spend. Challenges are definitely too little. Never thought they would require players to pay to complete a pass but the hardware mode isn't offering event XP like Tanks v Brigs did. Unsure if this is intentional. I'm also seeing some posts about some people having access to a fourth daily? With visual proof over on Reddit. Like the third daily has an arrow that shows a second daily in that slot. Really don't know why they bothered putting non-tiered weapons in a new event for telemetry focusing. Just more clutter for new players who might not know the difference. Also kind of at odds with things like the 'new gear' system and getting players to grind new weapons. Holofoils are cool, but don't know why they're not just considered 'shiny' like the T5 skin. More gear tiering stuff that's just cosmetic and might confuse people. Hoping they do more though! It's a very pretty skin. Limited time mods are neat, though I think the Cowboy Grip is also proccing Sweaty Confetti on my weapons? Even though I don't have it equipped. Anyways event is cool, weapons are neat, just wish the progression and rewards were more in line with Tanks v Brigs or at least in line with current gear standards.

13 RepliesThe rank 5 guardian rank is basically unlocked by completing the tutorial for the portal. It’s like the bare minimum of knowledge of accessing things in the game. You guys complain for the sake of complaining.
