I can't purchase an armor piece that I have unlocked.
I am at Ada trying to focus gunner for an exotic that I can buy in my collection, but it is saying that I need to unlock it to purchase from her. Does anyone know what I can do?

I am having the same issue. Focused Mask of Bakris via Novel Decryption and now I cannot use Ada’s focusing or Rahool’s. They both say the piece isn’t in my collections even though it is available to pull from my collections. So stupid and frustrating.

Same issue here. I’m wearing the mask of bakris that both Ada and Rahool say I haven’t unlocked yet.

Edited by StarPlatinum: 7/24/2025 4:23:08 PMI'm having the same issue. Idk if bungie is even working on this. Pretty annoying. From what I can tell it is because we have acquired the armor as a new piece, but it is looking for the old exotic armor style in collections. Hope they fix it soon

There was an issue which impacted the focusing of some Kepler gear, which was addressed in today's update. As per our [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/39007140765204-Destiny-2-Year-8-Known-Issues-and-Vital-Information]Known Issues[/url] page: [quote]The description for how to unlock Tier 2 and 3 Kepler Gear focusing is incorrect. Players must complete the "Explore Kepler: Fabled" quest to unlock Tier 2 focusing, and the "Explore Kepler: Mythic" quest to unlock Tier 3.[/quote] If the description described here has since updated in-game, then we hope this clarifies why you may not have been able to focus the gear in question. If, however, you're still experiencing the issue you reported, then please let us know.

I just checked this evening. I'm trying to focus a Mataiodoxía and it's still greyed out for me. I own 2 of them in my inventory, and pulled one from collections to see if that would unlock it. Still doesn't work. I've linked a video for proof. [url]https://youtu.be/XDafe-sydcI[/url]

This is impacting Exotic armor purchased using Novel Focusing from Rahool not correctly being added to our collections. We can see it in our collections and can re-acquire it from our collections, but when we try to Focus that armor from Rahool using Precision Focusing or through Ada-1 for the Archetype Focus option using the 20 requisition tokens, we get the message that we need to "Unlock this item in Collections to purchase". This has not been fixed, and from what I can see in these forums and other communities online is impacting a large number of players who did not own an armor piece prior to the Edge of Fate launch. Can this be added to the Known Issues list, as it is making it very hard to try builds focused around certain Exotic armor pieces which we are unable to get ideal stat rolls on.

Experiencing the same issue with Wishful Ignorance, bought it and Burning Steps from Rahool with a Cypher and Burning lets me buy at Ada but Wishful does not
