Even the developers are treated badly by the community my simple destiny enjoyer. Dont take whats being said here to heart especially socializers who weirdly are very unhelpful and are an opposition to you, (very anti-social behavior, You havent gotten pvp maps or new gambit maps or new strikes in YEARS, YOU Should be disappointed by this) The breadcrumbs that these other folk accept are paramount to solo players since specifically people who only play solo have a different unique perspective on the game. CONTENT in general not just endgame elitist stuff thats easy when you have group, oh really? DUH! is still dying. why are cosmetics allowed to take up server space! Instead of just removing the useless cosmetics items, they remove real content.. which is weird to accept honestly. My observation during the final shape was when the game was dying and the company was on fire they FINALLY AFTER TEN YEARS ADD A NEW RACE.. and the cherry on top they also upgrade the lightbearing as whole. This is one of those games that is gonna be great when its near death and the company knows it so than they'll give you the full loaf. play the game for what it is, killing people with guns on masse. and honestly run my bro its a very toxic community it seems. your concerns are true. Forsaken is also more proof of them only really trying when the game is near death fr. Bungie will lose more player if they gate weapons etc like they have in the past. The game isn’t what it was 5,6 years ago and its popularity isn’t the same either. It has a stigma along with Marathon so gatekeepkng stuff will only push ppl away. Make everything accessible just longer grind for solo. Easy

Just reinforce this because of the other comments I agree with you that there wasn't a lot made available for solo players. And to some extent solo players were punished. But I think what is lost on a lot of the people here making comments is a big reason people don't play the end game content is because they don't have anyone they are comfortable playing the content with. And the people in here making a lot of comments don't understand that they are just reinforcing the fact that anyone who has any sort of trepidation about playing in-game content with complete strangers are looking at what they're saying and it is just making them double down on the fact that they don't want to play with antagonistic personalities. And they're right. One of the main reasons I was solo for so long when I first started playing Destiny was the fact that the community wasn't particularly helpful. Rather than say, "hey we have a great clan we're very chill, why don't you join us and we'll take you through the raid." Instead the attitude you get is exactly the opposite and in a nutshell in this thread and I'm sure all over the place is exactly why a lot of players don't want to play with someone else. Because they're seeing the people in this thread and thinking,"I don't want this"

I have problems with the in game fire team finder. I can't join any team . When I make my own lots of times people leave before it starts. I have had much better luck with this website team finder versus in game . Raids and gm nightfalls should not have matchmaking but pinnacle missions in the portal should. The reason why so many fire team ops don't is because of modifiers.

Contest mode is not normal mode for the raid. Additionally, after content mode, there are a bunch of weapons that are available for the raid and mods as well. So your assertion the average player will 'never' get it done is just wrong.

I started the campaign solo, and finished with LFG and it was way more fun. For Raids it might be tough to go without coms sometimes, but for everything else: Dungeons, GM, campaign… team finder works fine if you know your part and you don’t have to have BFFs.
