PS4 crashing before reaching tower
After patch 9.0.0.2 the crash approaching the tower is systematic.
Also removing new armor items.
Please fix a.s.a.p. thanks..
Update : It iwas fixed, but now the crash error is back...unbelieveable...plesse fix it permanently !!

2 RepliesI haven’t been able to play since the dlc release, if we don’t get a compensation for their incompetence i swear I’ll lose my -blam!-. I can’t even get into the f-ing game man, i crash every time trying to connect to the damn game.

I have a possible work around to get into the tower. Though I haven't tested it thoroughly. I tried the gun range for the first time because I wanted to check it out and then loaded up the tower from there. Ive had a fair bit of trouble getting to the tower at all and it loaded up fine. After several crashes trying to get to the tower directly, I tried again. Went to the gun range and then the tower and got in. Dunno if its just a fluke or if it actually works, but if it does, I hope it helps at least someone not claw their eyes out waiting on a fix

Never in the several years I have played Destiny2 on and off has my PS4 crashed and disconnected from the Destiny servers as in the last month or so. Even more so now that Edge of Fate is out. Last night, I was disconnected and crashed twice and had to reboot both times. Also not happy that the option to discontinue a campaign or quest at any time by going to the director and selecting one of the worlds is gone. The only option now is to select the Tower and when I get there the crash occurs. I love Destiny2 but it may be time to look at some other games to play while this gets ironed out. Really frustrating.

I’ve been able to play the first mission, but after that the game crashes every time I try to start any activity (including loading into the tower). Haven’t been able to play anything since the patch. Very frustrating indeed.

1 ReplyI just put EVERY new weapon and armor piece (including ada requisitions) in the vault and got to tower for the first time.

3 RepliesYes, it is correct and it works for me. Try it, remove all the new parts, whether they are shields or weapons, and the game will work normally. I changed it from the DIM application, but we hope that Bungie will fix these errors so that we can use the new parts.
