Hard Crashes- Xbox Series X
During mission fallow I get the boss down to his last health segment & when I throw my Prismatic grenade the game stutters then crashes. It has done it every time & under exact same circumstances

4 RepliesFor me, it freezes for 1-2 seconds, then unfreezes without audio for about 1 second, freezes again then turns into a crash. That’s happened 6 times total since it came out. 2 times on launch day and 4 times yesterday (the 16th). REALLY annoying. All I’m doing is playing the game

It was doing the same during normal strikes last night on Xbox SX..

Not just the campaign (I did not pre-order and won't purchase EoF - HATE IT!!!) BUT - I was running Devils Lair last night, solo, got to the last phase of Sepiks Prime, had full super and almost full heavy, just two shield servitors left and boom crashed all the way to the XBox screen. Did it again just minutes later too. Quit, have no intentions of trying a third time!

1 ReplySame for me. Had 7 hard crashes on Xbox. Game freezes then boots me back to Xbox dash. Happens during fireteam ops.

The crash is very similar to Zero Hour the original launch. During the boss phase while using Riskrunner superconductor will proc and crash the mission. Now on the Edge of Fate expansion any encounters w/ arc, void and solar explosions increases the framerate and stresses the cpu and gpu to go unemployed. The spaghetti code of the new expansion is to blame. Good luck getting a fix soon Insert Gen Z stare here 👩🏻🎤

Maybe don't throw the shatter grenade? If you do same thing over and over and it ain't working. Try something else?

I'm running getaway artist on prismatic with stasis turret and helion. Not to mention the threadlings I have going off, void volatile explosions, arc traces, prismatic grenade and cataclysm super. That's a lot of warlock nonsense and it can't handle the frame rate. But the prismatic grenade for some reason always in the boss area. Game completely crashes. I dunno if it's just sad, or warlock to OP for this version lol

Mine has crashed numerous times today doing various activities. Super annoying.

This caused the campaign to take 3-4 additional hours for me to beat

Replying for visibility. Crashed on me and my wife during campaign, separate Xboxes, and keeps crashing on me while grabbing secret strangelet, same one, same crash.

Yep. Crashes here, too. Legit just not going to play it until -blam!- gets fixed. If it doesn't in the next few days? "Save a dollar, lose a customer". How's the firing of your QA department working there, Bungie?

1 ReplySame. Made a post about it a few hours ago. Right at the start of the second damage phase for me. Now, the game is crashing in other activities as well.
