So hear me out, we need a Borderlands x Destiny 2 crossover. I was looking at the Kingsmaker ornament for Queenbreaker and it really gives off major Borderlands vibes. And that got me thinking.
Destiny 2 and Borderlands are both looter shooter rpg FPS games. Both have similar vibes in terms of bad guy types. Both have wild weapon types and designs. And even now, Destiny 2 has been really experimenting with the rocket ammunition weapons, first with side arms and now pulse rifle.
Even more so, we are in the era of Destiny 2, where we are starting to explore outward more in the universe, so now would be a perfect opportunity to just coincidentally happen upon a planet overrun with Psycho-Bandit like enemies and a glorious Vault, ripe with loot for the taking. In addition, with the 3 different classes, they make could armor/ornaments based on different character types from the Borderlands world.
Out of all crossover ideas, this is one of the crossovers that would make the most sense, especially NOW, as we’re starting to travel outward from our solar system and exploring new worlds. And even more so, this would be an exciting crossover, that I know for a fact that a great many fans would really love and could possibly bring a lot of new people in or old fans back. So Bungie, please read with full consideration, especially as it could make you a lot of (*cough cough*) money. 😅😅 I know it would require getting a contract with 2K Games, but I fully believe you could pull it off.

4 RepliesThere’s always gonna be naysayers about content crossovers. I say go for it, so long as they’re thematically appropriate. Borderlands could be a good fit if we ever go back to the Tangled Shore. So could Metroid, Dead Space, or any number of other properties.
