You should still be seeing your PlayStation characters/progress when you play on Steam. Therefore, please check you're logging in to the correct Steam ID and/or PSN account before accessing Destiny 2. Sometimes players can mistakenly select the wrong one when logging in, making it look like your Cross Save characters have disappeared when in fact you're simply not using the account they're tied to.
