There are nine raids and ten dungeons in the game right now, all of the raids now having craftable weapons after loot pool refreshes have slowly rolled out and roughly half of the dungeons having craftable or enhanceable weapons if you count the elegant arsenal
Raid and dungeon content is some of the most creative and well made content in the game and there is six years worth of it playable in the game right now plus five raids still in the content vault. So what is happening to it in the edge of fate? Too much work goes into this content and it is enjoyed by too many players for it to just be left in the dust as soon as something new comes around
So can we please have some consistent upkeep of the loot and playability of the current raids and dungeons? All I ask is that the existing loot from raids and dungeons be rolled into the tier system, and that the tiered difficulties be added to the current raids and dungeon so that they remain relevant.

Edited by Golden: 7/7/2025 11:06:49 PMWhat I feel like they’ll do is, basically all the current raids and dungeons will be obsolete, EVENTUALLY to call it content they’ll “revamp” the older raids and dungeons to have T5 loot and call it “content” to sell to us later.

7 RepliesYa, would be a huge waste if all the dungeons and raids arent given difficulty modifiers with EOF with tier gears. My guess is they might slow roll them and call it “content”

They will do so in 2-4 years… bungie always takes a long long time to upgrade activity loot to new standards, sadly.

1 ReplyThey need to save something to recycle later. Never forgot we got VOG in D1, D2 then a refreshed weapons version for a third drop. They pretended like it was content everytime. We’ve been resold G horn three times, etc

They couldn’t keep the Red War relevant. This is a reboot.

If they made the old raids and dungeons relevant again, the Destiny community will just complain that Bungie is forcing them to grind the “new” gear all over again and accuse them of “sunsetting” their old raid gear that they worked so hard for. It’s literally an endless cycle.

They need to start going through dungeons with crafted weapons like they did with raids. Raids could use another loot refresh, but I’m sure something like that will happen in the next pantheon that’s coming next year.

Maybe two if they're feeling generous

If I had to guess, all the weapon patterns will still be obtainable (though with the new weapon system, who knows how much people are going to want them). Same deal with the Exotics. As for the Pinnacle drops, it depends if Bungie wants to keep rotating the Dungeons and Raids.

The Talentless Hacks at the studio will probably sunset them now.
