Bungie, the reality of it is you did not correct weight gate or drops in the rng based game. Because that would remove the grind removing player activity slashing into your funds, fundamentally making your hard word have less return for all of your work and money put into the game. No need to pretend or lie like that isn't the case.
That system allowed for people to get much more qualitative weapons, without going into raids or trials effectively. Maybe they're all not so necessary but I don't care to see you throw away qualitative ideas that help your game more than hinder it when the reality of it is that's what the major selling point of onslaught was. This another gambit prime removal type of situation.
You're introducing an unnecessary change to the game that are unwarranted, and that makes the player base suffer because you want it to be unreasonably harder for people to achieve the aforementioned qualitative loot from onslaught. Not all of us can keep up or have significantly enough time to achieve all those god rolls from that activity nor can maintain it for so long. Why do you think a majority of the playerbase left? Because they don't want to grind? No, most of us grew up and can't play nearly as much as we used to.
The economy doesn't allow a majority of the old D1 vets like me to constantly grind like they used to back in the day. If you want longevity and to maintain fairer rapport with your customers STOP DOING CRAP LIKE THIS. It's a bad change, the bit with Rahool is one thing when there's an easier direct link to the specific new exotics since systems make those easily achievable.
I don't have time to gamble away like I used to, and the majority left your game because they don't either. I'm not saying to take the grind away, but if a system isn't broken and helps people get what they paid for and want out of your game then stop taking that pathway away from them. Quit forcing your remaining playerbase to suffer that way when you just see this as a cash grab instead of the passion project it once was.
Guys spread the word about this take because we all know Bungie doesn't read the forums here anymore. Share and bump if you agree please.*
p.s. -Special thank you to Milk in the comments down below for correcting my lack of sentence structure. Please leave a like and thank you for his work down below for me if anything else. He’s a real one👌🏻

2 RepliesDidn't they say we'd be able to buy weapons from Xur? Because unless they're random, the drops are improved by default because then we'd be guaranteed to get the weapon we want, we'd just have to grind coins first.

6 RepliesI still haven’t gotten a recluse with destabilizing rounds

1 ReplyWell ever since the removal of crafting from most weapons going forward, just seems like that Bungie just concerned about adding more grind going forward. I'm sure it will keep the streamers and rng addicts happy.

2 RepliesI agree there is not much content by the looks in the edge of fate so they'll add more grind.

1 ReplyWhat if it's the case of the attunements that zavala has currently r weapons that will no longer be in onslaughts due to they going to xur. What if zavala will have different attunements for different weapons
