No this was an easy choice

5 RepliesAll I see is a research project. The game is already too complicated. I don't want to learn new menus and new ways of leveling up and a reworked armor system, just because Bungle wants to distract us from no new content and them spending all the money we gave them on Marathon. They're buffing and nerfing and balancing and blowing smoke like always, but not with my money.
-
3 RepliesThey've shown no new content. No new Strikes. No new PvP maps. No new Seasonal Activities. And the stuff they have shown? It's either extremely vague, or not interesting at all.
-
6 RepliesEdited by Tis-but-a-scratch: 6/24/2025 2:04:04 AMFor the first time in the history of this game, no.
-
No pre-order, most of the stuff coming seems to be system side and free. The 'new' content isn't enticing so far. I highly doubt its got anything substantive over a past season to justify its pricepoint.
-
3 RepliesNo. Generally, I had. But not this time. I'm for changes. I appreciate them, but only as long as they are not extreme. Just to be fair, I want to see the stream next Tuesday and then learn more. But right now, I think I don't have the time to have a decent progression with the new system. What bothers me is that Bungie overhauled their system once more, and existing issues, since years, are still there.

2 RepliesGod no. I’m primarily a raid and dungeon player but I hated vespers host, sundered doctrine, salvations edge, root of nightmares, ghosts of the deep and warlords ruin. So I’ve no reason to believe they will make the newer -blam!- any more fun.
-
No, I never preorder anything these days and tbh I’m too skeptical of some of the in coming changes to be willing to invest in EoF.
-
First time I haven't pre-ordered since Rise of Iron. Jus kinda had my fill & not really up for this new direction. Also.. Star Wars 🥱
-
3 RepliesHere until the ship sinks.
-
4 RepliesHow would you not know if you’ve pre-ordered or not?
-
I saw a post today on SM today that asked the same question with a poll. Vast majority out of thousands have preordered. It’s always funny how angry players get completely beat down on other forums so they come here haha.
-
Hell NO
-
Gonna buy this on discount. 33% price drop after 4 weeks. Can’t pay full price for filler. I’m anticipating September will bring back Wrath of the Machine anyway.
-
1 ReplyBallers take a wait and see attitude. Sigmas don't buy at all until bungie changes their ways.
-
Pre ordered. TFS introduced us to both a new and old location. Also introduced prismatic. Some new mechanics worked, are still being tweaked, or just flopped EoF is promising new mechanics to fix armor and mods. Not much in story or location. My hope is the updates focus on fixing things that haven’t worked or in need of fixing. So far what I have seen is both interesting and worrying. Hoping I did not just flush a C-note.

23 RepliesI did. But im having second thoughts. Because the grind is back, and it will be back every 6 months? That's something i dont have that much time to invest in. So.. im on the fence atm.
-
No.. Bungie.. 'We will call it. D3' Staff.. 'Sir, we've been exposed in Marathon' Bungie.. 'We will call it Edge Of Fate and make it a DLC. This was most likely how the decision was made

Not yet, I have to see more footage before I truly consider getting it. A few trailers don’t hype me up anymore.
-
Nope.

1 ReplyI enjoy the game, thus I'm going to continue playing it. It's that easy
-
2 RepliesYes but only because I had the money in my Microsoft account - not really seen anything I particularly like yet but I only play destiny & I always said I'm done with gaming when this ends so I've nothing to really spend it on otherwise. That being said, borderlands 4 seems to be very close to destiny gunplay & movement given they've added grapole, glide, double jump, Icarus dash & even supers like the titan strand super & people like gothalion saying borderlands finally went after destiny's players sounds promising - games a little too noisy maybe but if this stream looks bad on Tuesday I'm seriously considering jumping ship after 11 years. If I'm giving up I may as well use money I can't get back on a new game
-
9 RepliesI did. I view it as paying my Destiny subscription for the year and I've spent $100+ on dumber things before.

11 RepliesEdited by TripleF73: 6/22/2025 11:03:12 AMSeems almost representative of the redeemed preorder emblem. More and more evidence that about only 1/3 of people who ordered TFS have preordered EoF. And TFS was considered a flop and then 17% of Bungie got “Final shaped” So what do we think the outcome is going to be here? I hope that I’m wrong and the livestream is going to be amazing. I hope that it’ll persuade veterans to stay and new players to try Destiny 2 and EoF will usher in a golden age of D2. I mean there is a chance, right? Click at own risk.
If I was a betting man, I’d bet on clusterf**k, but I hope I’m proved wrong. On the other hand, every cloud… and all that. I’m almost super hyped for the schadenfreude I’ll experience when the Bungie glazers implode as EoF and Bungie fails catastrophically. Saying, “I told you so!”, is going to be almost cathartic. Either way it’s a win. 😝
Nope ,$60 of ornaments and $40 for story and seasons said it all to me ( bare minimum content bungie was just banking on people wanting the star wars armor )
-
Willing to bet that half the No’s are people who did and are trying to seem cool/better than thou Don’t really care either way (these forums haven’t been overly with it since Witch Queen) but whatever
