We know relatively little about it. We know we’ll be able to turn into an arc ball, we know The Nine are a major part, armor is getting a rework and that’s about it.
Remember the Vi-doc for Forsaken? They showed us The Tangled Shore, The Dreaming City, Gambit, bows, scorn, the new supers.
Nowadays it’s just a “here’s some concept art for something that’s coming in the future, a teaser for a DLC later this year, and here’s some gameplay for the next expansion. Aren’t we the BEST??”

3 RepliesHere's a secret info passed to me by Xurs horse ( 🤣😅🤣) In the story you will speak to a guy ,then fly to an asteroid to then watch a video feed,to then go to a planet and listen to two guys argue, then go back to your ship to listen to a radio message for you to wait to the following week for further instructions 🤦♂️ Can't make this stuff up So exciting 😁

If Bungie showed everything coming they may as well just make it a spoiler movie. The idea is not to show everything so players willing to invest time will have surprises and longevity in their game experience.

It’s kind of boring when you know too much though. I personally haven’t been stoked on too much over the last couple years, so I’m just going to wait and see instead of pre-order this time. I kinda like it this way because it eliminates my habit of doing things I don’t want to do because I already paid for it 😂. I’m hopeful that it will be something I’ll like and buy, but I’m not gonna be hurt about it if it’s not.

I’m more worried that we’ve seen most of what there is to see: no loot to grind for, and activities to repeat endlessly to fight the real enemy, the RNG. And yes we can also turn into a ball now. -
Yeah there really is almost no excitement on these forums or anywhere else. And that is a real shame. I am sure the remaining devs are trying their best, but Bungie execs have crippled them and the game.

I don't like so much being revealed weeks (or months) ahead of something becoming available. It's just an attempt to build hype and by the time it finally comes around there's not much new to actually see. Maybe they'll reveal a little more just before relaese, maybe not. Maybe there's just not much more to show and those three things you mentioned will be the most distinct features of the new expansion. If you're not sure (I'm definitely not) then wait until after release and make a decision based on the additional information. -

I think “Returning the mystery to Destiny” was kinda something they were going for.

3 RepliesI'd really rather know more about balancing changes to subclasses, exotic weapons, and if we're getting new armor mods since armor 3.0 will make a few obsolete than story spoilers.
-
16 RepliesI'd rather a lot of it is kept under wraps; I don't need to know everything before I even play it, otherwise what's the point?

The dreaming city was not shown off btw. All comparable things to what you’ve mentioned have been revealed already. We also have two reveal streams before the expansion releases. Hopefully they keep the spoilers out of it.
