I love the fact that bungie is revamping the stat system, i really do. However im worried about the weapon stat in pvp. It would give people who play destiny more often an advantage and new players would have even lesa of a chance. In pve, perfect more damage. however this may be a completly useless argument with how much the buff is.

1 ReplyI’ll take that worry away right now for you. The damage is equivalent to 3 weapon surge mods. And the amount of investment this will take over the benefit is redicules, I’ll give some examples, because everybody will get the new t10 resilience health everbody will have 230 health in PvP. Currently there are only a select few weapons who ttk shift have with 3 surge mods, think high impact auto. And weapons who have high forgiveness. Aka 390 pulse,180 scouts, 180 hc, all the weapons who have a slower ttk then the meta will get there ttk in-line with the meta options. So your trading ease of use for high stat armor build, and believing the content creators out there, you will be maximum have 2 stats up to 200. This will mean you will have to sacrifice significantly into armor to get ease of use weapons for a slight bump in ttk. From a good players perspective this is redicules. Why should a good player with inharrent good aim and movement invest in something that gives him ease of use. While he has te skill to use meta option to outslay his opponent and he can relocate the stats in something that inhance his performance like faster super, quicker weapon ready speed and faster class ability are way more beneficial then the 3/5/6% weapon damage increase. Hope this helps.
