Wish Ender is no longer exotic.
Edge of Fate introduces a new type of bow — in short, it has over-penetrating arrows, and deals damage multiple times in a single shot just like Wish Ender.
So, with this development, Wish Ender is the least “Exotic” weapon in the game. The only thing it has going for it now is intrinsic anti-barrier and very weak Truesight. However, even Truesight has more sources coming in Edge of Fate.
Wish Ender needs a rework. And Bungie, don’t give it the stereotypical “Final blows and precision hits with this weapon do X” that you give to all new exotic bows now.

Yeah, I don't think the new bow is going to be on par with wish ender, a diluted, watered down, lesser version is more like it. There are already similar such weapons, and exotics in game.

Wishender pierces and hits the same enemy multiple times based on enemy size, dealing significantly more damage to large targets. Longbows are a bow with armor piercing rounds.

4 RepliesI imagine there will be a buff to it. Gives truesight maybe. It being an exotic primary makes it do 40% more than legendary I believe if I’m remembering the number correctly.

That's not what it says. It's just penetration meaning it can hit multiple targets. It won't hit the same target like 5x like wish-ender does except maybe one with multiple hitboxes like the multiple legs on a walker. Also Wish still gives wall-hacks, a damage bonus against taken, and intrinsic anti barrier.

5 RepliesI'd say Jade Rabbit is actually the least "exotic" because unlike most if not every other exotic weapon, it only has 1 exotic perk and nothing building off of it. But also the fact it's perk is one players intentionally avoid using, effectively making the only thing on JR worth using is it's stats.

You could say that about a lot of Exotics. They just get outclassed by Legendaries.

Yay, it gets to join about 80% of exotic armor and a couple other weapons.

I’m pretty sure it’ll get a rework in the future, but having a non exotic version of the bow is pretty sweet

It’s almost like they’re asking how to directly-replace certain (if not all) weapons and armor in a targeted way, instead of just adding new ideas. Good luck Bungie. All I have to say.
