Just let it swap firing modes and it's good. If anything, I can think of a few exotics that need/ deserve buffs or reworks. A few examples: Jade Rabbit. It doesn't matter how reliable an exotic might be when the only thing that makes it "exotic" if you don't count the disproportionate stats compared to the rest of the archetype is the intrinsic perk players actively avoid using. Sunshot. Nothing exotic about the intrinsic trait unless you consider a visual effect that offers no advantage as one because I certainly don't consider explosive payload as "exotic". And it's AA is 20 points lower than every other (former) 150, not to mention that like other exotic hand cannons, gets beat in range and/ or stability by most if not every legendary used in pvp BEFORE perks like Keep Away or Zen Moment. Thorn. They kind of invalidated the nerfs in S22 when they started allowing damn near every hand cannon in pvp to be as consistent as they are at longer ranges, most if not all of them having 70-80 range and stability before the aforementioned perks when Sunshot was brought up. Skyburner's Oath. Probably the only time I've seen this used in years was to shoot the power cores of those cabal shield domes. Oathkeeper gloves. To use these to the fullest, you have to use most if not every bow the wrong way as you'd either be losing out on DPS or you'd be killing ads slower. Especially exotic bows. Izanagi's Burden. Kind of hard to justify using this when we have No Land Beyond back, Still Hunt, even Icebreaker can be good if you build for it. Then there's linear fusions that do the job better with less ammo used.
