If you're relying on just appearance to tell you what class someone is, then this is 100% a you problem. Loadout appears in Trials. Supers also appear for both teams in your HUD so you can quickly work out what you are (likely) facing. Most Hunter cloaks aren't nearly as 'neat' looking as the Darth Vader one. Watch the jump. Always play with the assumption that your opponent will have something to mess you up, regardless of class, and aim to mess them up first. You are, unless someone has got a hyperfocused ability spam build, more likely to get taken out by the gun play than any ability.

Capeless hunters have been a thing for years. Why is it a problem when Titans can do something similar.

I mean, you can see what you're up against in the intro screen. If someone is going to go through the trouble of loadout/dress swapping to obsure their likeness, which might net them a round or a kill - more power to them. Although, I've nver been thrown off by a cloakless hunter and thought it was something else, I've absolutely bamboozled players with the titan helmet during festival of the lost.

Should be removed for pvp just another dumb decision by bungie who literally refuses to let you shader an exotic weapon or put an legendary ornament on an exotic armor piece because being able to identify classes or armor but allows a Cape on a titan in trials and pvp But maybe it's a good thing atleast it makes it easy to see the idiots that wasted there money on pre ordering
