There are only 36 possible perk combos on claws of the wolf…meaning realistically 1 in 36 should be the roll i want. I have now gotten over 70 this week without 2 rolls im going for…this is ridiculous

Since someone needs to be the smartass, formula for an event with a set probability to not happen in n attempts is (1-p)^n So if we Stick with the 1/36 = 0.0278 (1-0.0278)^70 =0,1389 You had roughly a 14% probability to not get your roll in your 70 attempts. BUT, that is with a common chance for all perks, and we all know Bungie tweaks the odds for the good perks..

Some are lucky while others aren't. The SMG from ghosts dungeon this week.... I'm trying get rolls with incandescent. I got 1 drop from a run and 2 dropped from quest to open the platform chest. All had incandescent.

1 ReplyThat just means statistically you could have gotten that roll twice IF it was rotating through the perks in succession which it is not. It’s random, so every drop is a 1 in 36 chance.

14 RepliesIsn’t it 1/36 chance every time you get the weapon, not total. So out of 36 drops you wouldn’t be guaranteed the roll you want, because every time it drops you have a 1/36th chance to get what you want.

I stopped going for some rolls... When I get the same exact roll 4 times in a row with zero variations. Then get two different rolls and then the same roll 3 times in a row again. It just feels rigged.
