There's a bunch of audio issues on D2 that's why ppl use either the system party chat (pc, Xbox, PS5 or Discord) Instead on the default one. Only one I've experienced so far and it's really annoying the the flying to tower. I been stuck in that animation and no way to get out of so i had to close the game to fix it. :( Overall, there's a bunch of issues rn on Bungie's side hopefully some get fixed in the next expansion. (But most likely we'll get new ones 😅)
