The point about them purposely choosing to not make trials gear as cool as possible out of fear of impacting eververse certainly feels true. Probably why most of the earnable gear looks pretty lacklustre most of the time. It’s pretty disgusting tbh. Honestly as much as I want Destiny to improve a part of me wants to see Bungie fail and let Sony do whatever they want with the studio. Yet another part doesn’t want that to happen because the devs themselves deserve better. I just wish the executives/upper management themselves would bear the brunt of the failure, but they probably won’t.
