Rampage is the original damage perk in Destiny 2, but unfortunately it has been extremely power crept. Long gone are the days of outlaw rampage carrying you through all content. In a world with damage perks like sword logic, golden tricorn, even swashbuckler and adrenaline junkie, rampage falls behind in one way or another. Sword logic and golden tricorn activate right after a kill like rampage but do far more damage and last longer. Swashbuckler, adrenaline junkie, and desperate measures do less damage initially but can be activated by abilities and last longer. Rampage either needs a damage buff or a duration buff or honestly both. The master of arms treatment would be pretty good also where instead of going away all at once the buff degrades over time. Rampage x3 degrades to x2 and so forth rather than running out altogether. There are some fantastic weapons with rampage and a few buffs would really help to elevate them. While you're at it bungie, a pve buff wouldn't hurt either.
