This is bungie they honestly do not care about the PvP side I recommend you find another game that has developers who do care. Pve they are fine used to be amazing but its a bit part game now no need to grind or stress anymore thats a good thing for everyone PvE related. PvP is a awfull what has happened to you has happened to everyone who plays comp and they know its a problem just not a bungie problem.
