Well it is what it is but you know it's a masochistic choice every time you queue up. Nobody's forcing to do that but yea I get the dopamine wheel of fortune there.

Crucible in Destiny 1 was MILES better. Simply because the focus was much more on the shooter elements entirely than the abilities. Add to that slower spawns, mobility, low FOV, everyone playing on the same hardware, etc. Destiny 2 PvP is "playable", but not enjoyable in itself. You really need to be quite good are quite educated on how to exploit spawn points and map angles to do consistently well. Not to mention certain weapon types. People like me are the reason why other players hate Fusion Rifles in PvP. Because we learned to utilize their bad positioning, read/project their future play intentions and use that information against them with proper timing to take them out. Crucible in D2 is basically "eat or get eaten in the wilds".

Just don't play pvp but calling for a whole aspect of the game to be removed just because you don't enjoy it is just incredibly egoistical and toxic. There are people who enjoy pvp and not pve and they still don't cry for pve to be removed.

How about you check my playtime in this game and see where my focus lies (last I checked, something like 70% of my overall playtime was spent in PvP...not sure what it is now)... and then ask Bungie how much money I've given them. After that, tell me how big a mistake PvP was for this game. For years, PvP was my entire reason for playing D2, and the same goes for thousands of others. Just letting you that know we exist too. As a matter of fact, I believe their pulling back from working on the crucible is a significant reason that this game isn't doing so well. That said, I'm sorry you're not enjoying the one aspect of the game that was once my entire reason for playing. I really hope you find a way to have fun with it because it has brought me thousands of hours of great fun, and I'm thankful it's here....even with it being neglected for far too long. I for one won't mock you like others have or will do for taking the time to express your concerns. Thanks for doing so. Why do I say this? Because I used to be one of those players who would fireteam up with my friends and absolutely crush pretty much everyone we came across. We would have games where the entire enemy team wouldn't even score a single point. People would leave. New ones would join. We'd cycle through 15+ people before the game would end in another mercy. Games would end too fast. We'd crush streamers and other 6 stacks. Some of my friends are in the top 10 spots for certain pvp ranks because all they do is 6 stack. No more for me, though...not after seeing it break so many spirits. So again, unlike others who seek to pile on your pain, I'd like to take a moment to thank you for sharing. People like you have changed how I play. I'm sorry. I hope if any of my friends are reading this,that you consider your actions. Just play with 1 or 2 skilled players. No more 6 stacks, please. Look at what it causes. Thank you. Someone I admire is TheeHofer. He is all around just a tad better than me at pretty every aspect of PvP, and he has great attitude. Who is making you play PVP? It should have taken you like 10 games at most to figure out PVP was not for you, and that should have been the end of it. No need to crash out online

Yeah PvP has gone downhill quite a bit. I used to love PvP (despite its flaws). I still do play it from time to time, but not nearly as much as I used to. It was never balanced but it used to be pretty fun. Now it’s just unbalanced and boring especially since everyone seems to have really doubled down on constantly teamshooting. I don’t even want to win a duel, I just want to experience one again. Honestly I really miss the Forsaken/Shadowkeep era of D2 PvP. That era was probably the most I enjoyed D2’s PvP.

You are right about hit registration, lag/ latency and cheaters.

And the same developers are about to release a PVP only game. 🤔

What they should do is just make pvp its own separate game at this point. I’m so tired of the pvp nerfs ruining builds in pve.

It's the best part of the game, but I will say that it is twice as laggy as normal this week. Sucks, but that's life. Just gotta roll with it.

Pvp has its problems but it is the only reason this game has lasted as long as it has imo. No other game has the PvE and PvP merge so well
