I bought my 1st ever playstation (PS4) in a bundle that came with Destiny 1. I fell in love immediately. Bungie, you've created not only my favourite video game EVER, your game is also the entire reason I've purchased a 2nd ps4 when my 1st one died, and then a ps4 pro when it came out, and now a PS5. That's right. I bought all those systems specifically to play Destiny. No other game. Even with all the free games that come with a playstation membership that look great and I add them to my library...every time I consider playing a game other than Destiny, I'm like the person who wants to go outside but sees that it's raining and ugly and am like, "nah, I'll stay inside today." No game is like a sunny day in comparison to Destiny. None. It's that's simple. This is my absolute favourite video game and it's not even close. I'll add that the community was and is a part of why this game is my favourite. And with the community all feeling like it's a rainy day, my time here feels more like winter than summer. As such, the flavour in my mouth seems dull. I really hope you can bring this game back to it's high points. I could just be burned out. So get that rush going again, would ya! Where's the flavor? I'll mention one last thing: criticism. If you were to scroll through all my forum posts, you'd find posts of praise and posts I'm ashamed to admit have come from me. But Bungo (you can have Bungie when you're back to being Bungie.), you should wear my colorful language as a badge of honour...to some extent. No other gaming forum on earth contains my colorful language. Why? Because no game on earth has captivated my attention like Destiny. I couldn't care less of the changes made in other games...they're just changes which I adapt to. Let that sink in. And then smack yourself upside the head. What the hell is wrong with you! You see your community? You're about to throw it all away. Smarten the hell up. Like Simba in the Lion King, you've forgotten who you are. I'm that pesky little baboon reminding you that you're a king among games. Now act like it! PS. - As for the bald guy in the video (around the 1:45 min mark): if he still works there, you should immediately fire him and anyone who shares his manipulative attitude and tolerance of mediocracy. If you won't or can't fire them, then develop a system in which their uninspired, pathetic thinking becomes on par with what Destiny was once known for. Why not hire some of theses insane speed runners to work for you? The moment I start thinking I'm skilled at this game, I turn on one of their vids and am blown away by what's possible.
