What defines “ Beating “ D2?
For me it’s having the most prestigious/hardest thing in the game. For PVE, I have 3 Contest emblems one for each guardian. For PVP, I FINALLY got my flawless title in trials after winning 7 straight games solo. What about you guys?

Finding a truly non toxic clan that I can chill and have a laugh with while beating content. I did master -blam!- last night and even when we wiped we was having fun for me that's just perfect.

To me it’s doing my 3 strikes to get my pinnacle and my nightfall score. Yeah that’s about it I think my most prized possession is the gun I got from the one and only time I beat the first encounter on salvation’s edge 🫡

I only feel “caught up” when I have every Exotic weapon and armor. I finally “beat” D1 a few months ago. That damn Playstation exclusive Sniper finally dropped (Zen Meteor)

Depends on who you ask. Some would say just beating everything once is enough. Some would say you need to have all the exotics for all 3 characters. That would include raids and dungeons etc. Some would say (literal lunatics btw) having all the titles and triumphs is beating the game. People like me would say there is no beating the game. My personal goal is to always have everything crafted that is available, all the exotics, and to continue my maximum gilded conquerer streak.

Having everything collected in terms of exotic weapons and catalyst, exotic armor, and every red border done and collected, for me this is beating destiny 2 and being triumphant. After that it's up to what you define as beaten, for me that's all that matters.

Ascendant 0 and solo 7 win streak are probably the hardest things to do in my opinion

I don't think you can beat the game, but the only things that make me feel like i accomplished something is completing contest raids.

live service = you live in service to the game the question is when has the game beaten you into being unable to service its needs? -
