Its broken asf. For other characters you need weapon specific perks the have area of effect damage which can people off a spot or res. Yet hunters get that for free wtf? So they dont need weapon specific perks or armor tied to weapons like necrotic grip . Like seriously wtf u thinking? You can be the F%*%%ing clueless as a game developer? A lot hunter mains crutching this ability are going to say otherwise and downplay the ability to make it sound not broken just so you dont nerf,.100% $1000 guarantee they will. Ignore that crap they are liars and they know its broken. If Actually care about Balancing the game ,start with that! Not finger snap skate!

9 RepliesEdited by Kiro - 13: 4/17/2025 3:33:49 PMI dont think on the prowl is the problem. Nor is it any other singular part of the On the Prowl void RDM hunter. Its the combination of On the Prowl, RDM, and gamblers dodge. Creating a game play loop where each piece feeds into the other that is creating an over-tuned setup. The Loop: Dodge to return smoke grenade in addition to going invis upon activation, target becomes marked, when target is killed they become a "hazard" via the corpse is turned into a smoke grenade, which then refreshes invis(if passed through), and then refunds the dodge. Further more don't worry if you messed up, as you get three charges of dodge to reactivate the loop... Now what could Bungie do to break up this synergy? I think they have alot of options but the best is to nuke RDM. Its an exotic with the effects of 3 exotics rolled into one. If that is not enough then make On the Prowl only activate on "combatants" and have Gamblers dodge only refund 50% of of smoke grenades energy exclusively. But I think nuking RDM into the next century should likely be sufficient.

So hunters are still crutching void 🤣 that invis crutch will never go away.

Dodge: go invis Toss smoke: go invis OTP: invis but slightly different Don't see how you're having issues with what's been in the game (invis) since D1 lol

1 ReplyOn the prowl is not the problem... The only good thing it does is give an extra fragment slot. Otherwise it's really not that good at all. I removed it from all but one of my saved loadouts and even then it's because I don't really use that loadout. The real problem is RDM. Please revert RDM to it's state before the rework. While their at it, rework on the prowl so we can get something useful. Make it a warm husk level heal on kill or just ability regen for a few seconds slightly more powerful than what it is now.
