Any Trust users?
Malfeasance is probably my favorite gun for PVP, but I’ve been playing around with a few Trust rolls. Heating up/rampage with 64 range and 80 stability is my best/most used.
I’ve been trying to get snapshot sights with any meaningful 4th column trait, to no avail.
Anybody got any favorite rolls of Trust for PVP?

Over 40 trusts later, about 20 at prestige 4+, and I’ve seen 1 explosive payload. On a single perk column gun. With hip fire grip.

If you like trust get into dsc and craft a posterity. I run it with killing wind and rampage. Very underrated kill chain weapon in 6’s. I’d love a good trust but with 12 perks in each column and locked behind gambit I’m afraid it’ll never happen.

2 RepliesTrust is one of my favorite guns, aesthetically a western open-top revolver with a late 1800s appeal. For a 180 it can have some great base range and is quite effective for both PVE and PVP. My best one is a T3-enhanced one with Extended Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Enhanced Heating Up, and Enhanced Incandescent. Its got Ballistics Mod for better range, stats are as follows: 83 range 74 Stability 37 Handling 62 Reload speed 78 Aim assist 14 Zoom 35 Airborne Effectiveness PVE roll, I know, Incandescent isn't particularly great in PVP but I don't take it there for Incandescent, I take it because it is a crisp little demon of a 180 Hand Cannon that can clap in the Iron Banner. [spoiler]I have another 4-5 in the vault with other rolls, some of them I haven't checked, but I think one has Explosive Payload yet also suffers terrible stats. [/spoiler]

2 RepliesHello. I'm not a HC user but I have one with Sideways and EP. The crazy thing is it even has 460 Crucible kills on it. If I can use it to this effect, imagine what a skilled HC user can do. Jeepers. Maybe I'll bring it out again for a run or three 😂

I got really “lucky” with a: Full Bore Accurized Rounds Rapid Hit Explosive Payload It’s pretty decent, I say lucky with quotations because it took me 12 Gambit rank resets to get that roll, and I was wanting a Rapid Hit/ Rangefinder roll.

Yes! Mal is my go to as well, absolutely love it, even at range. My current trust is fb, acc, snap, ep w ballistics. Worth the grind, good luck!

I would try to max the range out, being a precision frame stability generally isn't an issue, but heating up + rampage/tricorn is definitely what I'd go with. Bungie balanced them so any damage bonus makes them 3 tap. Maybe surplus, opening shot, or snapshot also as good options. Might be a little eye rolling, but putting on RDM, with radiant dodge with trust would give you very high uptime on 3 taps, between radiant and rampage. It's basically like using old lunas howl.

Although I don't have a Trust I use anymore > 180s in general have been actually useable in the crucible. for solar [b]Frontier's Cry[/b] (Iron Grip + Steady Handy + Tac Mag + Full Bore + Range MW + Quick Access Sling) has been fun. My top 2 are Optative and Survivor's Epitaph with honorable mentions or even close seconds for Sightline Survey & Nature of the Beast. The 180s have made close in maps more fun in 6s paired with a shotgun. I plan to hunt a Trust in the future but I was always eyeing a Opening Shot + Explosive.. but perhaps should consider Snap and say EOTS (pref Range MW.. to play in future sandbox with 140/120s).. shame so few are enhanceable...
