I got really lucky and got an inmost syntho class item roll from xur after doing gms for coins.
Is it better than using base synthos like I’ve been doing ? Or, are there some more considerations ?

The class items usually have a piece of the exotic perk missing. So on synthos its bonus super damage and extended melee range. So you just gotta decide if losing that is worth an additional perk.

I have been trying for so long to get that role from Xur gg bud it will happen for me weeks of 199 coins for 4 shots lol nope hahahaha

3 RepliesBetter for sure ggs ,this roll was the reason titans got nerfed since bungie devs aren't smart enough to just nerf synthos on stoicism instead which would barely been noticable thanks to hoil combo but bungie chose the easy option of nuking titans as a whole instead

1 ReplyYES, don’t think about it

base synthos buffs super damage in addition to melee damage. spirit only buffs melee damage

If you want to be constantly Datto slamming, inmost syntho is the way to go

1 ReplyIt’s great, and I feed like assassin + syntho works prolly better in end game solo contexts.

1 ReplyOnce you start using innermost light with anything, you'll never be able to go back.

1 ReplyMy personal favorite exotic class item has spirit of severance and spirit of contact. Do not get me wrong, spirit of synthosteps or the exotic has its power… You can one shot champs… But my above preferred combo will wipe out/control entire rooms and does not need you to be surrounded to be activated. Great combo and keep an eye out for one.

5 RepliesI'd say it's Fireteam & Activity dependent. Stoicism doesn't buff the Super DPS or boost Weapon Handling. Just the 165% Melee bonus. If you need to pass DPS checks, say, in a Grandmaster, then Base Synthos will likely do more for your fireteam. If you're the 'Lone Titan' in your FT, then I'd stick with Stoicism. But overall, I'd tell you to just disengage Prismatic on the whole.
